* This is a good question and I unfortunately don't know the answer. All I know, from second hand accounts, is that SL used to support it, but it was buggy and unstable, so it was removed. I'd love to hear more about it and why they abandoned it. (The protocol still contains references to joint information fields, so maybe we can use those fields in the future.) IMO, the descriptions are very technical, and the wording not very easy to understand (i actually needed a dictionary for some of the words, which is rare for me!) and i don't think that most users can understand most of it.

So i would suggest that someone would go over the entire article, and move stuff around, and rephrase where so desired.

There are also several things that are not very clear, or even may be outdated. I've added some comments in the source of the article, mentioning some of the things that are not very clear.

The things that i am puzzled about are: does or doesn't NINJA work without a patch? Is installation of the OAR a hard requirement to get NINJA working, or is it optional?

I wouldn't mind rewriting parts of the page, although it would be good if someone were to check up on my changes to see if the text remains accurate.

There used to be functionality like this in Second Life (at least the sources seems to indicate this).

[edit] Too much tech talk?

I am not a developer, so i am looking at this article through different eyes, which are really those of the "dumb" end-user, and to be honest, this all is very confusing.

IMO, the descriptions are very technical, and the wording not very easy to understand (i actually needed a dictionary for some of the words, which is rare for me!) and i don't think that most users can understand most of it.
