[11:08] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: Several other people haven't appeared yet today. I'll wait two more minutes and then we can start.
[11:08] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: it is summer
[11:14] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: It seems like it is just the five of us for today. Did anyone have any questions/comments/issues? If not we can wrap this up very early and go outside and enjoy the nice weather.
[11:14] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: Other than Microsoft breaking things, don't think much is up on the opensim front ..
[11:15] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: What did the fine folks at Microsoft break?
[11:15] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: we fixed the Max avatar issue in the viewers
[11:15] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: I think that is going to be a "wait and see" on the microsoft front
[11:15] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: it was fixed opensim side
[11:15] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: yes thanks for looking into that Gavin
[11:15] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: What was the symptom of the breakage?
[11:15] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: look at the Mantis Andrew, a few things with the 1903 windows 10 update
[11:16] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: after updating the field in the viewer once it started showing -1
[11:16] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: MOAP, MySQL , zlib a few things
[11:16] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: Which mantis number?
[11:17] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: 8554,8558,8559.8549,8557
[11:17] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: the MOAP thingy...
[11:18] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: I actually think it is a viewer issue because LL has made a new version of the embedded Chrome
[11:18] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: That's quite a few reports.
[11:18] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: which no viewer has taken so far
[11:18] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: I'm on the insider program so I'm already pas that update, not had any issues with my windows test regions ..
[11:18] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: well it is not just MOAP
[11:19] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: few other things are hinky with 1903
[11:19] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: the group update isse might also have LL fixes
[11:19] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: I'm not sure what version of Windows I have on my laptop.
[11:19] Selby.Evans @grid.kitely.com:8002: Hi Ubit
[11:20] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: thing is it all still works fine on Linux servers
[11:20] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: so it is something MS broke
[11:23] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: My laptop just tells me I'm on Win 10 but I already knew that.
[11:23] Ubit.Umarov @hg.osgrid.org: go to settings, updates and... then there is a build info
[11:23] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: yep
[11:23] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: Windows 7 and earlier pushed messages and pop-ups all over the place to tell you there were new updates as you were in process of installing them
[11:24] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: so MS telling you something you already knew is noting new
[11:24] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: oh, right. The update page.
[11:24] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org grins at Gavin.
[11:24] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: PC Settings > System > About
[11:25] Ubit.Umarov @hg.osgrid.org: ( gavin always good to tell andrew he is on this or that.. )
[11:25] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: :-)
[11:25] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: I'm on 1809
[11:26] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: I tested Dayturn on 1903 and did to find anything specific, but I will have to test again
[11:26] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: The problems occur when regions are running on Windows
[11:26] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: not with viewers
[11:26] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: I don't have that to test with
[11:27] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: Good to know, Bill.
[11:27] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: I'm not likely to see the problem as I'm not using Windows to run regions.
[11:28] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: That is in those Mantis' problems are occurring with regions on 1903 after the update
[11:29] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: But there are tons of reports on 1903 being broken, quick google search shows that
[11:29] Ubit.Umarov @hg.osgrid.org: and same where able to rollback to 1809 and things worked ok again
[11:33] Bill.Blight @hg.osgrid.org: there was an update to 1903 for people in the insider program I already have that, my test regions ran fine
[11:35] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: on the bright side I see a lot of complaints that copybot viewers no longer work in SL
[11:36] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: "they cannot get their Bento anims"
[11:38] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: That's good.
[11:39] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: sure is
[11:39] Andrew.Hellershanks @hg.osgrid.org: As we have so few of us here today if there isn't any particular OS topic anyone wants to talk about I'll call this meeting to a close.
