There used to be functionality like this in Second Life (at least the sources seems to indicate this).
What happened to it? Are there lessons to be learned?
- This is a good question and I unfortunately don't know the answer. All I know, from second hand accounts, is that SL used to support it, but it was buggy and unstable, so it was removed. I'd love to hear more about it and why they abandoned it. (The protocol still contains references to joint information fields, so maybe we can use those fields in the future.)
