These terrain files are intended to be used in OpenSim, but may be used for any purpose you choose. The .raw files are in f32 format.
All can be scaled vertically after loading using the "terrain multiply", "terrain add", and "terrain rescale" command. The look of these terrains can be changed drastically by rescaling.

The RAW files in the list appear to be unavailable from their original site. Until that site will come back, you can still download archived copies of those files from the WaybackMachine's web archive. More RAW files are available from the Open Source RAW Terrain Textures project. You can submit your Open Source terrains here: OpenTerrains
