Myriad Lite Healing
Healing Concepts
Many combat-based games offer a heal-up object that will partly or fully restore the player's health when activated.
The Myriad Lite Food Potion script was designed to sit in an edible food, or drinkable potion form.
When used, the item could reduce a charge, allowing for fewer limited uses, or be destroyed, as the programmer chooses.
This script is NOT complete, but includes a framework and specific notes in specific sections for an item builder to include their own specific tailoring.
This script contributed by Yoshiko Fazuku (SL/OSG/Avi). Thanks, Yoshiko!
Healing Setup
- Create an edible or drinkable object
- Drag and Drop the Myriad Lite Food Potion script from inventory into the object
- Edit the script to configure HEALAMOUNT provide full healing or partial healing as desired.
- Edit the script to configure what happens when the item is used and provides its healing
- Does it have a few uses that run out?
- Does it take time to recharge?
- Distribute copies of the healing food or potion items where desired to give combatants a chance to heal up.
