Great work on the Getting Started page! We need more articles of this level. Sometimes, the more you know about a subject, the harder it becomes to keep explanations easy to understand, and you succeeded at this.

Thank you, and i am looking forward to seeing more of your contributions! --Fritigern 12:18, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for the feedback :) I'm still pretty new to wiki, we use it at work so I have some experience, but for the most part I'm still thumbing my way through it. Took me a good 5 minutes to figure out I needed to click the "+" to add comment / response to your post lol.

BTW thanks for listing the markup for internal urls. I knew about using the page name only, but couldn't figure out how to show a title. The editor doesn't put a pipe between the URL and Title when you click on the "internal link" button. --Johnny

The pipe character will only be needed on an internal link if you want the link to show a different text than the page title, like This page i once started to serve as a Getting Started page :-)
Should you want to use external URLs, then there are a few differences, if you just enter the URL in the text, it will be automatcally turned clickable, like http://opensimulator.org, if you put the link in single square brackets, it will look like this [1] (useful for adding references inside the text, without messing up the layout too much). And to show a different text than the link, it's done like this, with a space between the URL and the replacement text.
That's links, even if you already know how to use them :-)
I can't think of anything off the top of my head to add. If you would like to know how to do this or that, then please let me know. I'd be happy to help!
BTW, i realize that you're still working on the article, though keep in mind that some parts may eventually have to be worded differently.
