I am a developer of 3Di.
This document is my proposal of How to introduce OpenID into OpenSimulator.
Since Virtual World is supposed to be one of the posibilities of the "NextStep", I think, Virtual World should "absorb" most of the advantages of existing technology.
So, further than OpenID,
- user asset(appearance) portability
- my imagination of the future shape of Virtual World
are also included.
Please have a look at it.
I am now working on OpenID/AssetPortability implementation for OpenSimulator.
