I don't think that Flex is a the best choose for this project. No mobility, Flash player needed.
Maybe a AJAX solution is better like ExtJS.
Where do I download it? :)
I'm just joking, of course, I understand this is just an entry for the Google Summer of Code to attract potential people to develop it...
