Myriad Lite Region Settings Server
The Region Server configuration notecard is where you, the region owner, list the specific statistics, resiliences, skills, boons, flaws, and such for your region's character creator.
If you will not be using the Character Creator, this step can be skipped for now.
Later changes to the Myriad Lite system may require servers for other items.
Setup
- In an out-of-the-way place in your region, create 2 prims named the following:
- Myriad Lite Region Settings Server
- Myriad Lite Region Settings Client
- Copy the Myriad Lite Region Settings txt notecard into the Region Settings Server prim.
- Copy the Myriad Lite Region Settings Server script into the server prim.
- Copy the Region Settings Client script into its prim.
When complete, you should have 1 Region Settings Server prim and 1 Region Settings Client prim.
As the Region Settings server script initializes it loads the settings data.
As the client prim initializes, it requests the list of data from the server prim.
If you click the client prim, it will request the list, each setting data item, and an invalid setting item to perform a basic functionality test of the server.
