I have been working extensively with computers since 1977, with the web since 1994 and professional IT development since August 2008.
2007-05-13: Entered Second Life.
2008-12-11: Started trying out OpenSim on an iMac (PPC) G5 with OS 10.4.11.
2008-12-14: Got first a standalone and then a local grid version of OpenSim 0.5.0 running on iMac.
2008-12-15: Started trying to get OpenDynamicsEngine working on iMac.
2008-12-16: Managed to build and install OpenDynamicsEngine on iMac, but the avatar drifts downward and collisions with ground or objects aren't stopped.
2008-12-30: Installed VirtualBox 2.1.0 with Ubuntu Server 8.10 on a MacBook 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with OS 10.4.11.
