Yes it works with Opensim as with SL; as Paul said the rigged DAE SimpleBot 
example from LL works fine under Opensim.
All my tests are with OS and SL.
If Viewer3 disables the Upload button it's because the rigged DAE is not 
compatible.
It needs few other tests to be sure compability is not offered by Evolver.
At last it's possible to send a request to Evolver if they can add an option 
to generate a rigged .DAE compatible with Viewer3. :))
