That's good advice from Simon.  Remember that the osgrid distro will be set up to connect to osgrid.  The config will 
need changes to do an independent standalone/grid.

I would hope that the OpenSim 0.7.1.1 release would be fine with Mono 2.6.7 on a Mac OSX.  That's near to what I was 
last using.
