I am currently running version 1.9.1 of mono.

I gave up on the pre-compiled binary and compiled my own executable.

After performing:
        cp sqlite-3.4.1.so libsqlite3.so.0
the source version is running fine.

Perhaps there is a bug with the pre-compiled binary running on linux ?
