[Opensim-dev] Region module project for addition to forge

Hi Gunther,
I don't know where you're getting the sense of danger, but I think I
understand some of your concerns. I think it would be considered extremely
rude for a region on a general purpose grid to change an avatar's
attachments without permission, hence the various degrees of "politeness"
that can be configured.
However, it's not really intended for use on open grids, but on specialised
grids where the attachments are essential to the grids purpose, or closed
grids where users would basically be agreeing to the attachments when they
sign up. It would not make sense to ask for permission in these
circumstances.
Like Fleep said, I don't think there's really any obstacle to maliciousness
in region modules. I will have the module be configured for maximum
politeness by default (asking permission, no kicking, allow removing of the
attachments), but if somebody wants to mess with your avatar (or worse) I
doubt they need my help to do so.
