[Opensim-users] Question about dev master and the experimental materials implementation

Hello all; I was wondering if it's "safe" to use the latest master (as 
safe as dev code can be I suppose :) )? I was reading the the note in 
commit d5419f about possible data corruption / viewer crashes... Does 
that only apply if the module is enabled?
