[Opensim-users] MonitorStats and rrd

hello
i would like to take some measurements to see how a simulator or a region
can react to load charge.
Bluewall recommended me to use rrd files and interpreters like Cacti.
I have played a little with the subject and tried different tools then i
have chosen Collectd because it is lightweight, expandable and doesnt
depend on scripts runned by cron.

i have created a wiki page here :

it could be fine if people seeing clearly in rrd could adjust the values to
get something more realistic (i have set all values to a common type for
the moment)
maybe we can also add curl_json plugin parameters for the ones who would
use other opensim statistic sources.

then we can also create a cacti page for the ones preferring this solution
and also create common cacti templates to read rrd files made with any
poller.

i have posted this mail and created this wiki page in the hope that someone
playing with supervision would help to enhance this page and create other
ones :)
