[Opensim-users] PostgreSQL state in OpenSim

I was looking for information about using PostgreSQL with OpenSimulator and
I see that its support has been discontinued in 2009 on the
wiki<http://opensimulator.org/wiki/Postgresql#What_about_PostgreSQL_or_NHibernate.3F>,
while I can find a Npgsql.dll
file<https://github.com/opensim/opensim/blob/master/bin/Npgsql.dll>in
the OpenSim master branch on github.
Can someone confirm that it has been abandonned or not ?
