Ok, if you aren't seeing any connection attempt information on the console
when you are trying to connect with the viewer, then that is most likely a
networking problem - the viewer is unable to connect with your server to
process the login.  If your networking settings were correct, then you
would see the login attempt on the console.

So to troubleshoot, review the networking information at
http://opensimulator.org/wiki/Network_Settings to make sure you have your
network settings correctly configured and the proper ports forwarded on
your router/open on your firewall.

Then the next thing to check is that your various ports are open to the
outside world.  I've used http://portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm to help
me verify that both TCP and UDP traffic is properly getting passed through
my router and firewall.

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.  :)
