[Opensim-users] OpenSim 0.6.9 Binary Install?

Hi everyone

I have just upgraded our test server to OpenSim 0.6.9 and have posted
the upgrade instructions to my blog at

I have been asked to do a fresh install of OpenSim on CentOS 5 for
someone else.

When I originally installed an earlier version of OpenSim from source
on our servers I had to do quite a lot of work to prepare CentOS 5 to
run OpenSim.

My question is, is a Binary install of OpnSim 0.6.9 under CentOS 5
straightforward or it it full of pitfalls, in which case I would do
better to install it from source?
