[Opensim-users] Using git to get the latest release

Hi

I'm trying to use git to fetch the latest release of opensim to
experiment with megaregions on our test server.

I have to use port 80 for git access because of a corporate firewall.

When I try the git clone command I get the following response:

[root at standbyvle ~]# git clone http://opensimulator.org/git/opensim
Initialized empty Git repository in /root/opensim/.git/
Cannot get remote repository information.
Perhaps git-update-server-info needs to be run there?

If I  visit the above URL using the browser the directory opensim is empty.

How can I download the latest code please?
