[Opensim-users] standalone vs. grid

short answer :

 standalone : all services and regions are one program that can handle x
regions (the files under Regions/*.xml) as long as your system support it.
Grid : all the services could be spread on diferents computers eventually,
and the same or any other computer could run the region server.
