[Opensim-users] OpenSim 0.5 download?

Thanks for the reply. I wish it were that simple

I already had Visual Studio C# 2008 express installed. Ran the
prebuild2008.bat then opened OpenSim.sln in Visual Studio C# 2008
express. I got a lot of errors and the build failed. There were some new
exe files but no opensim.exe. I am guessing this is still needed?

Anyhow. Tried again using the prebuild.bat. The project needed
converting in that.

I deleted the folder I had unpacked the 0.5.0-release into and unpacked
it again so as to have no bad files to try again.

I uninstalled 2008 version (including the mssql server and other
programs installed with it) and found and installed Visual Studio C#
2005 express. Again I ran the prebuild.bat then opened OpenSim.sln. I
got 42 errors and 13 warnings when I try using Build Solution. No
opensim.exe file.

Am I doing something wrong?

Windows XP Pro SP 2 PC.
