[Opensim-users] region handshake - how does it work?

Hello again,

I'm still strugling with my opensimulator setup with NAT Firewall
inbetween.
If I use the external IP address in the region file everything works
well.
If I use the server url, the 'region handshake' doesn't work.

Can somebody explain how that region handshake SHOUL work.
Who initiates it?
