[Opensim-dev] Negative z values

To me it feels a bit strange that builds can go up thousends of meters in
the sky, but just 20 meter under the water.
If it is the case that the 0 meter would become absolute under limit (wich
is new to me) than the 20 meter level should rise to a 1000 meter ?

Or is it maybe time for a complete review of the coordinate system ? (why
is 0,0,0 in a corner ?, why can't we use multiple terrains above each other
on the same sim ? why is the opensim world flat and not sherical ?)
