[Opensim-dev] about web services

hello
i would like to know what is the actual state about opensim and webservices
someone told me in irc that some functions are implemented in the region
level but most of the actual methods will be broken soon

i have searched infos in the wiki about this and can not find some

where can i find infos about :
- the actual state of webservices in the core
- the actual available methods
- the future plans about this
- alternative solutions
- the concerned files in the core
