[Opensim-dev] User services refactoring status

As it stands right now, SQLite is not usable or testable:
http://opensimulator.org/mantis/view.php?id=4437

I don't think it's reasonable to expect that one or two developers do
the maintenance on *all* alternative implementations of things. Hence
this request for help. Nothing has been merged to master yet, so this
is, effectively, /before/. I know the MSSQL connector will be covered.
I don't know about the SQLite connector. If no one steps up to the
job, what it means is that no one cares enough to allocate their own
time to maintain it.

We cannot stop evolving / improving OpenSim entirely because of lack
of interest on one of three alternative DB connectors... NHibernate
was removed, because no one cared for it enough to maintain it. The
same will happen to SQLite if no one steps up.

As for estimate -- that's what it is, an estimate, not a definitive
date. We have a process here. If you give a -1 to the merge on the
grounds that SQLite support has not been secured, then the merge will
not happen. Simple :)
