[Opensim-dev] Performance work on wiki

Hi folks,

Everyone should be aware of the latest patches to improve performance
and scalability. It seems this is something a lot of people want are
working hard to get. I did a few tests with physics engines and
profiling, I know Dan Lake has similar work on his blog, and I'm
guessing lot's of other people might have other pieces of information
that put together could possibly build a clearer scenario.

For this reason, I started this wiki page:
http://opensimulator.org/wiki/Improving_Performance

It's linked on the Dev's docs, and my proposal is to ask people to add
content there or link your websites, blogs, etc., giving just a short
summary on this page about the work you did.
The more information we gather, the better we can understand our
bottlenecks and adjust them. It doesn't have to be entirely scientific
methods of measuring, if your measurements give a sign where the problem
could be, someone else could do the correct scientific analysis and see
if your suspicions are confirmed. As long as you have a lead, please
post. =)

Thanks,
