I believe that the nightly binary builds were deactivated because of the danger of data corruption or other unexpected 
effects in trunk builds for users who weren't prepared for the possibility (as was demonstrated recently).  Of course, I 
don't include you in that group, Ai ;).  I don't know of any immediate plans to reactivate it.

To be honest, I think we're coming to the stage where it's better to rely on release builds than to follow trunk since 
the majority of the major expected functionality has been implemented.
