[Opensim-dev] plans for mapapi support

hello,

I wonder what the ideas of the development-team are, concerning mapapi support 
for OpenSim. There is what looks like a great ajax-GIS 
app(http://communitymapbuilder.org/), which can maybe do some of the hard 
work. Are there already plans for such a mashup, or is this maybe an 
opportunity to bring mapapi support to OpenSim?
