[Opensim-dev] Protected Constructor

What he's doing, I presume, is to instantiate the userserver from the service wrapper. Actually, I already applied this fix to 'stable', but must have fogotten to include it in trunk.

While in theory you could just inherit into a dummy to open up the constructor, I see no reason why it shouldn't be public. If nobody beats me to it, I'll open it up for him.Best regards,Stefan AnderssonTribal Media AB

You should still be able toiate the inherit from a protected constructor in a derived type, no?

Hi Friends,

ill try to create an gForce Project to run the .exe´s as a Service
(Windows only cause Mono isn't ready for this :) )

Now my problem is to call the default constructor of the OpenSim.Grid.UserServer cause its protected.
There is no reason to let it protected, so can i change it in an patch into public ?
