[Opensim-dev] Towards 0.5, what's left?

I don't know if that's what you referred to, but it sucks big time that the TextureEntry (with face info) is currently stored as byte[] - I believe that this is purely for ancient historical reasons, and the only reason we retain this sub-optimal solution is because we are afraid to cause breakage.
Well, I say we have nothing to fear but fear itself.
Anybody know of a good reason not to have a 'real' TextureEntry, besides backwards-compatibility?
