i can't comment specifically on the apple sauce, but i've been
running opensim under mono 2.10.9 on debian/ubuntu gear for a while
now and haven't imploded. in fact, things seem to run quite
nicely. definitely give it a shot. do, however, steer clear of
mono 2.11.x, just in case you were curious. things turn weird...<br>
