<div>We decided to backup our Diva installation and database, </div><div><br></div><div>then we updated Diva from r13981 to r15402-b, tested creating an avatar, then upgraded to r15592 and did it again; </div><div><br></div>
<div>then wiped everything off and installed a totally fresh Diva distro r15592 with MySQL 5.5 on Windows Vista and tried setting up an avatar account.<br clear="all"></div><div><br></div><div>So, we tried with upgrades and fresh install and different administrator email accounts</div>
<div><br></div><div>In each case, the email notification for a new user signup was not being sent to the administrator's email, and when he found the pending signup and activated the account, the user did not get a notification email that his account was activated.</div>
<div><br></div><div>We're puzzled why that wouldn't work when we had the correct SMTP settings </div><div>(the administrator account is a gmail address and his password is correct).</div><div><br></div><div>Any help?</div>
