Just so you understand what I did. Since the first web site I was
given gave directions saying for use with opensim, I really dont
have to worry about the client, I installed it by skipping the
install of mumble's client and only choose to install the murmur
server. And yeah, it put it and all the files murmur needed in a
mumble directory. I was only starting to wonder if that was an
error. But apparently I was right in that case. And I wasn't sure
of my dll versions until now. But it turns out installing murmur on
1.2.3. version was a mistake.

Now even the link you gave me don't really have a working link for
1.2.1. Sorry for the added confusion for being different.
you install it you actually get a server (murmur.exe) and a
client (mumbles.exe) all in a folder called mumbles. I just
installed the mumbles install package (also called
mumbles.exe) on my opensim server box and went and started
up the murmur.exe from that folder. When you do that you now
have a voice “server” running. After that is running you can
start up opens and it will find that and hook into it ( you
can see that in the console).

Ok got the dlls, but still ned to find
the murmur 1.2.1. I do have this question. Did I
misunderstand?

I thought I only needed the server, the correct version of
murmur 1.2.1.. the dlls in the bin of opensim 7.1.1, and the
thing that installs the replacement slvoice.exe in my
imprudence directory, and the correct section to my
opensim.ini installed.

Was I suposed to actually go a head and install the client
whisper client too. I think I misunderstood, I thought the
installing of the replacemtn slvoice was the client. I
thought since I am not acciess the voice outside of my grid
and the others from outside had the clients. Or did I mess
this up?
