As I wrote in my tag line, you might have missed it since I have a
habit of ignoring other people tags, I show that I am running
Apache, with PHP installed and more that all came with xampp. I
even installed the mail server incase it was needed later for off
world IM mesages later on.<br>

Thanks for the responce though. I don't want anyone to fel I don't
appreciate some kind of reply.<br>

what you're saying but the blunt fact of the matter is that
OpenSim is very technical alpha software. As you've found out,
getting features beyond the basics working is complicated, often
poorly or even conflictingly documented and may well involve
hanging about and asking people on IRC (which can often generate
no responses if everyone is busy/elsewhere).

I think that's just the nature of cutting edge volunteer-led
open-source projects, especially one such as this where the
architecture is extremely distributed. It's not worth ruining
your health over. If things get too much I would seriously
suggest leaving it for a while and coming back in a year or two,
when things will (hopefully!) have improved.
<br>
<br>
You may also want to consider a hosted solution. Running 49
regions on a single machine is also asking a lot technically,
depending on how much activity/prims/scripts are on those
regions.
<br>
<br>
As for groups, it is possible to get them running on
standalone. I can't remember what you may have written about
this before. With Flotsam, it should be a case of following the
instructions at
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://code.google.com/p/flotsam/wiki/XmlRpcGroups">http://code.google.com/p/flotsam/wiki/XmlRpcGroups</a>. However,
this code is only very lightly maintained. You might also want
to check out the other groups alternatives at

work in a standalone with just the standalone and no robust

servers etc.
<br>
<br>
I am starting to think I misunderstood and that I got confused
about tit. Kind of the way I wasted all kinds of time
<br>
trying to get voice working with freeswitch only to find
freeswitch don't allow the owner of the sim to use a DYNDNS

name server and a permanent IP must be used instead. I asked
questions on and on, only to find out this bit of

information later.
<br>
<br>
So I am starting to believe that is the problem with groups.
Maybe I never asked the right question and running the
<br>
groups module may be impossible with a standalone. I am
loosing my patience with all this, I have been staying up late
<br>
and waking up in the middle of the night over all this, over
something that was supposed to be fun. It isn't worth what

little health I have left.
