Basically, I am able to get opensim started and get the Region (...) # prompt, but when I try to access the grid via Hippo from my desktop, I am unable to log in (Error: Unable to connect to the grid. Despite our best efforts ...etc).<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText><span lang=EN-GB><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText><span lang=EN-GB>I got opensim to work on a standalone machine, but we need it to work on a server so others can access and use it. The port is open and I've got Ubuntu 10.04 / mono 2.6.7 - so I don't think that's it. I've tried testing it on an Ubuntu server without firewall and it is the same result.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText><span lang=EN-GB><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText><span lang=EN-GB>I am hoping there's someone who's experienced the same problem and they can share the solutions.
