Really appreciative of everyone trying to help - John, we followed your suggestion, and we also followed Diva's:<br><br>He tried without an entry in the hosts file:<br>Using the FQDN for -loginuri and the client can't even find the server.<br>

Set external back to FQDN, internal IP at 0.0.0.0. With this external computers will get past the handshake and log in completely, while he hangs at the handshake trying from inside the LAN.<br>

This is the correct set up. He should use the FQDNS for -loginuri, not the local IP.<div><div></div><div class="h5"><br>
