Hmm that is a thought... I did have an issue at one point where I
had a scripted sculpted object that I made physical. It actually
passed through the terrain and got stuck a couple thousand m below
the terrain and was also stuck waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay far beyond the
border of the region far out of my reach; but it was still acting
like it was in that region. Caused a lot of endless red spew once
the 0.7.X series was introduced which left me scratching my head for
a while... Finally the only thing I could think of was to create an
OAR, Extract the OAR to a folder, delete the offending object from
the OAR's inventory, and then recompress the OAR back to a .tar.gz
file, reload it back to the region and it got rid of the object. But
is there an easier way to get rid of such objects that are seemingly
out of the avatar's normal grasp? The Phoenix/Emerald viewers have
the area search function that will list all the objects in the
region... but doesn't have a way of returning the individual object;
it's an all or nothing deal.<br>

I don't actually have an answer to this one.. It could also
potentially be a locking issue between script threads. Maybe
you've got an object stuck at a border when the sim loads causing
it to try to save the state again?<br>
<br>
You might get some response on freenode, IRC, in #opensim-dev.
You might also get a response in mantis if you post it there. It
sounds like a bug but it may be one that can be safely ignored.<br>

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this. Was
just curious =) Thank you!

Hi all!<br>
<br>
Once in a while I get this error (and ones similar to
them) while OpenSim is loading up:<br>
<br>
2010-10-03 04:38:59,234 ERROR -
OpenSim.Region.ScriptEngine.XEngine.XEngine [XEngine]:
File
ScriptEngines\a6885bb3-049c-11de-ae71-0050c2490048\b61d3460-f98a-4542-bef1-7c2f4712c252.state
already exists! The process cannot access the file
'C:\Documents and Settings\Chris\Desktop\OpenSim\OS 069
Post
Fixes\bin\ScriptEngines\a6885bb3-049c-11de-ae71-0050c2490048\CommonCompiler_compiled_e04189c0-84ab-44c4-a327-54125bbe8867.dll.map'
because it is being used by another process.<br>
<br>
I have a feeling that this is because some other
entirely different script is trying to share the same
script state as another script on one of my regions but
I am not sure. I have tried clearing out the contents of
the ./bin/ScriptEngines folder but the error still pops
up from time to time. Does anyone know what this error
means and if it could possibly cause any harm (say
script corruption or something)?<br>
<br>
Using OpenSim 0.6.9 PostFixes but have also noticed this
on 0.7.X PostFixes as well.<br>
<br>
Thank you! :)<br>
