Check your local coords, if you are at 131,126,30, then yes, is 256000 + local coords from 1000,1000

2010/6/28 Ai Austin <ai.ai.austin@gmail.com>

I wonder if anyone can explain why we see the 256000,256000 coordinates in diagnostic reports within Opensim.exe, and I now see also in the "About" box in an SL viewer...

You are at 256131.6, 256126.7, 29.6 in Openvue located at killegray.aiai.ed.ac.uk (129.215.219.138:9000)
OpenSim 0.7 (RC1) (Win/.NET)

For example my Openvue region is at the xloc, yloc of 1000,1000. DSo I wonder if the figure represents a number of metres from 0,0? I.e. 256*1000 + offset in metres within region?
