I'm probably wrong, but here's my 2 cents:<br><br>1) I believe it is possible that the sim keeps it in active memory to reduce connections needed to the database.<br>For the others, I don't know, never had that problem.<br>

I am testing on Ubuntu Linux, OpenSim r7840, and wanted to check that<br>

1) "Test User" was the default user on login, so I created another user with<br>
    "create user" in the OpenSim console. However when using sqlite3 from<br>
    the shell, or using the Firefox sqlite plugin, the only user shown when<br>
    opening database "userprofiles.db" and querying<br>
    "select * from users" is "Test User", not the other one. I can log<br>
in with the<br>
    other one fine, so it must be storing it somewhere. Any idea where?<br>

2) I tried resetting the password for Test User using "reset user password"<br>
    at the OpenSim console, but this fails because relogging-in as Test User<br>
    uses the old password "test", not the new one. has anyone else<br>
noticed this?<br>

3) What is the preferred method of deleting a user? I guess if I can get (1)<br>
     above working, I can use Sqlite to remove the row in userprofiles.db or<br>
     or wherever the user info is stored?<br>
