<div>Hi:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I am using Opensim (mainly) to test buildings and textures that can be used later into Second Life. I haven't enough time to contribute to the Opensim project as a full-developer but I think I could make some interesting "external" utilities.
</div>
<div> </div>
<div>In Second life my partner Asha and I developed an Autocad to SL export tool (Henshin: <a href="http://ai-designstudio.net/en/products/introduction-to-henshin.html">http://ai-designstudio.net/en/products/introduction-to-henshin.html
</a> ) and we are trying to translate the data files (quite simple, they are only positions and shape and texture info) to Open Sim. We haven't LSL working 100% to do it so we thought that the "load-xml" console command could help us...
</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The problem: texture info in the xml. I can't understand the way it is stored. There aren't any table in databases to store the texture params similar the way prims are stored (its uuid, pos, rotation, etc etc), is something like a blob...
</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Could anyone explain me how the texture info is stored in db?</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thank you</div>
<div> </div>
<div> </div>
<div>PD - The import utility will be open source (.NET, but I haven't decided the language) ... and we are planning to allow to import Collada (<a href="http://collada.org">http://collada.org</a>) files both to SL and OpenSim.
