Ignoring my  bias as a KI fan,  Pit is seriously a very strong character.  Yes, he  can't kill very easily. Sweetspotted ftilt and bair are his fastest killing moves, and they're not easy  to land.  Once you get  past  that, however,  and learn  to  appreciate his god-tier neutral and take  advantage  of his  strings  and even true combos,  Pit can take you  pretty god dang far.
