[Opensim-users] After Ready Player One

Oh yes, I ran a Pern type MUSH for a while called Silver Skies. I lost a lot
of interest when my wizards started infighting. I left the internal
management to my wife and focused on maintaining the server its self. Lost
even more interest when I was introduced to Second Life and its potential.
Finally, there was Opensim where I pretty much could "have it all." An
environment in which I could play and have full control over the server.

You might find this amusing...

Maybe the OASIS in Ready Player One actually goes back to the original MUDs
and MOOs. Any others out there who was a MUD user in the 1980s :-)

And see this area related to Ready Player One which used to be available in
Second Life...
