[Opensim-users] Matching, mapping user UUIDs between servers

You can manually create a new user using the "create user" command which will let you supply a UUID. There are also
ways of doing this through services [1] if you can secure the API. Unfortunately, there's currently no way to migrate a
whole user in a single package, inventory and all.
As other people have replied - changing all the relevant UUIDs in the OARs should also work. The oar (tar.gz) loader in
OpenSimulator can be a bit finicky - I believe the directories must end with a / in their names, for instance. There is
information on the format at [2] (I confess I just added the information that archive.xml must come first since that
wasn't there).
