Hmm, not sure what's going on there, but if you haven't already try:
1) Switching the media surface to other websites and make sure they show in
the same way that you expect your local site to.
2) Try "localhost" and "127.0.0.1" instead of the regular IP address and
see if that shows up in the Apache logs.
