[Opensim-users] Diva 0.7.6 issues with config and MyWorld.ini

Ok, but still doesn't explain why port 3306 is refusing connections, even
with Windows firewall disabled and 3rd party firewall (Agnitum Outpost)
completely uninstalled. Telnet to port 3306 gives connection refused, and
HeidiSQL gives "ERROR 2003: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost'
(10060)"

Even more confusing is that installing MySQL 5.1 works without a single
glitch on the same machine.

Regarding the earlier suggestion re the my.ini file and "skip-networking",
the only contents of my.ini currently are:

datadir=C:/Program Files/MariaDB 5.5/data
port=3306
sql_mode="STRICT_TRANS_TABLES,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION"
default_storage_engine=innodb
innodb_buffer_pool_size=409M
