[Opensim-users] Touch to open by other users not working?

I must be confused, as far as I know another user has NEVER been able to
open a prim owned by someone else unless they have edit permissions on that
user's items. Why should they? It's my prim, you shouldn't be able to
open it unless you have edit privs on my stuff. Unless of course you've
bought a copy of the prim and you are now the owner yourself, THEN you
should be able to open the prim.
If you're trying to give that functionality to someone else when you are
still the owner of the prim, are you perhaps confusing the combination of
"setting a prim for sale + contents radio button + default touch action set
to buy" with being able to open a prim? If the item is set for sale, to
sell the contents, and the default touch action is set to buy the object,
then when another user clicks on the prim, it opens the window to buy the
item's contents.
Sorry if this is confusing, but as far as I can tell in opensim 0.7.4, the
"open" option functions exactly as expected.
