[Opensim-users] boredom and thinking

I was browsing the opensimulator wiki trying to find a way to automatically
back up oars and other parts of a grid, and found an interesting module
idea for it called AutoBackup. I thought it was a pretty neat idea sadly it
looks like it was never fully complete and is outdated. I made me wonder if
maybe this is something that could be incorporated into OpenSimulators core
but cover more than regions, say user inventory. One of the things I have
issues with is if I make one mistake when updating from one version of the
software to the next I could loose all of my grids content and the users
arent happy about it too. I am sure others face this, and its not fun
losing hard work, also pretty easy to forget to backup one region or one
user. If it cant be incorporated into OpenSimulators core can someone point
me in the proper direction to learn the language for OpenSimulator :P Cause
I would like to try and develop it myself if at all possible.
