2° I migrated from diva to another web interface, and I didn't need specific process for that, just used the same database. Diva includes the standard OpenSim tables and they were ready for use with another or without web interface. The additional tables created by Diva seem to be for the web interface specific needs only.
3° I corroborate what Fleep says. I installed the modules used by Mimetic Core's bundle (I did before the bundle exist) and it worked fine out of the box. I guess the bundle is just easier to install and maintain.

I am able to add users using WiFi (they show up in the database and can be logged in)... but the auto-update of how many users/regions in WiFi doesn't work, and neither does user search. It's like WiFi can't find my database. Can provide copies of my robust.ini and grid_common.ini if need be, but would rather ask if there is something obvious I am missing in my wifi config.
