[Opensim-users] Out of memory exception on logout r/17830

Unless other people have started to suffer these problems, then it suggests to me that you are genuinely out of memory. 
  Check how much memory OpenSim is using in your system tools.

Deleting the ScriptEngine or assetcache folders will have no effect at all, since these are disk caches.

One thing to check is whether your system has MemoryCacheEnabled = false in the [AssetCache] section (you can see the 
values your system is genuinely using by typing "config show AssetCache" on the region console command line.

As far as I know, nobody uses MemoryCacheEnabled = true - it seems that disk access is quick enough and the memory cache 
just takes up precious space.
